  • What is scalp micropigmentation (SMP)?

    Scalp micropigmentation, also called a medical tattoo, is a procedure that aims to create an illusions of a short-cut hair. A specially selected pigment is applied to the top layer of the skin, which creates the illusion of hair follicles. After the treatment, our head looks like it was just covered with thousands of newly growing out hair.
  • Is the effect of the treatment realistic?

  • How long will the SMP effect last?

  • How much does the SMP procedure cost?

  • Do I need a consultation before the treatment?

    No. you don’t need a consultation before the procedure, you can make an appointment immediately for the treatment.
  • Does the SMP procedure hurt?

    The pain is a very individual issue, most people estimate it between 3 and 4 on a 0-10 scale.
  • Can SMP be used to hide scars after hair transplantation?

    Of course. We can hide scars after hair transplants, burns, injuries, surgeries, and other experiences. It doesn’t matter how old is the scar.
  • Does the SMP change color to blue/green after time?

    No. Our pigments do not change color. After some time, the color fades but never turns blue or green.
  • Is the SMP a reversible procedure?

    Yes, it is. We can reverse the effect of the treatment using laser therapy with the Q-Switch function. In which very short pulses of high energy are used. No scars or discoloration occurs after the removal.
  • How long does the micropigmentation take?

    Most often three sessions are needed. The interval between each session should be at least one week. So, the final result is achieved after about three weeks.   • Can I meet someone after SMP treatment?

  • Contraindications to the scalp micropigmentation

    Micropigmentation cannot be performed if any of the following occures: skin damage or skin diseases (psoriasis, urticaria) on the pigmented surface, ongoing radio or chemotherapy (incomplete cancer treatment excludes from the micropigmentation), bacterial, fungal or viral infections , fresh scars, scalp inflammation, eruptions, epilepsy. During the free consultation, we assess the skin condition of the person who decides to undergo SMP treatment. Before performing the procedure, the client fills in a medical questionnaire, which excludes any possible contraindications.
  • Can the SMP procedure be performed with blondes?

    Yes, of course. We have about 30 shades of pigment, and that is why we can pick the right color for each hair and scalp type.
  • Can I go to work day after session?

    There are no contraindications. The SMP is a non-invasive procedure. Our clients function normally and the day after the treatment they are showing themselves in public, which does not arouse interest among other people. For several hours after the treatment the scalp may be reddened, but on the second day everything returns to normal.
