Questions and answers

SMP is an abbreviation of SCALP MICROPIGMENTATION – a procedure aimed at creating the illusion of short-cut hair. We apply a specially selected pigment to the outer layer of the skin, creating the illusion of hair follicles. After the procedure, our head looks as if it were covered with thousands of hairs. It is also called medical tattooing.

There is no need to specially prepare for the procedure, it is a non-invasive procedure. Please come to the procedure with your hair cut, it is best to cut your hair on the day of the procedure or the evening before the procedure. Please do not consume (excessively) high-proof alcohol 24 hours before the procedure – this is about thinning the blood.

Yes, even very. Our pigments and equipment on which we work are at the highest world level. Adding to that experienced staff, we have enormous capabilities. We guarantee that even people from the closest surroundings will not notice that these are not real hairs.

With proper care, the satisfactory effect can last for several years, but the immune system is also important, and it is individual for each person, making its functioning difficult to predict. Usually, the satisfactory effect lasts for 3–4 years. If after a few years you decide that you would like to improve the effects, we will perform a touch-up for you. The price for a touch-up is definitely lower than for the first series of treatments at the SMP clinic. We always offer a discount to returning customers.

Price from 1500 PLN, depending on the degree of baldness. It is determined individually for each client. You can send us your photos, talk via Skype or come to our clinic for treatment valuation.

Consultation is not necessary. You can schedule the procedure right away.

The issue of pain is very individual. Most people rate pain at 3–4 (on a scale of 0–10).

Of course. We can conceal scars from hair transplants, burns, injuries, surgeries, and other experiences. No matter how “old” the scar is.

No. Our pigments do not change color. Over time, the color fades, but it never turns shades of blue or green.

Yes. We can reverse the effect of the treatment using Q-Switch laser therapy. This is a system that uses a very short, high-energy pulse. Scars or discoloration do not form after removal.

Most often, three treatments are needed to achieve a satisfactory result. The interval between treatments should be at least one week. You are able to achieve the full effect after approximately three weeks. We look good already after the first SMP treatment session.

Of course, in our clinic, the consultations are always conducted by the person who has undergone the procedure. If you wish, the meeting can take place outside the clinic, so that you can see for yourself that the procedure does not arouse interest among others.

Micropigmentation cannot be performed if the client has any of the following contraindications: skin damage at the site to be pigmented, ongoing radiation or chemotherapy (unfinished cancer treatment excludes scalp micropigmentation), bacterial, fungal or viral infections, fresh scars, scalp skin inflammation, skin diseases on the pigmented area (psoriasis, hives), skin eruptions, epilepsy. During the free consultation, we assess the client’s skin condition for the SMP procedure. Before proceeding with the treatment, the client completes a medical questionnaire, which excludes any potential contraindications.

Of course. We have 30 shades of pigment, so we can choose the right color for each hair and scalp color.

There are no contraindications. The SMP procedure is non-invasive – our clients function normally and show themselves publicly the day after the procedure, which does not arouse interest among other people. For a few hours after the procedure, the scalp may be red, but the next day everything returns to normal.

Yes, after micro-pigmentation procedure you can sunbathe the scalp. As with any sun exposure, tanning should be done with caution – so as not to burn the scalp.
