What is scalp micropigmentation?

Scalp micropigmentation, otherwise known as SMP, is an advanced cosmetic method that will allow you to regain the appearance of a full, closely shaved hairstyle.

This procedure involves precisely implanting pigment into the upper layers of the skin, allowing for the recreation of the illusion of short, densely growing hair. Our unique approach ensures that the final result is indistinguishable from natural hair, making it the ideal solution for people dealing with baldness or excessive hair thinning.

Scalp micropigmentation is not only a method to restore an attractive appearance, but also a way to improve self-esteem and psychological comfort. It is an excellent alternative for those seeking an effective and safe method to combat hair loss, without the need for invasive hair transplantation procedures or the use of preparations with questionable effectiveness.

We use the latest technologies in the field of scalp micropigmentation to ensure a realistic and satisfying appearance. We make every effort to tailor each treatment individually to the client’s needs, skin type, and expectations regarding the shape and shade of the new hairstyle.

Hair loss does not have to be a problem anymore.

Scalp micropigmentation treatment is a way to regain self-confidence and enjoy life without limitations.

Scalp micropigmentation is a modern solution for people struggling with baldness, imitating the appearance of natural hair. It provides optical thickening, regaining self-confidence and is an alternative to hair transplantation.

Benefits scalp micropigmentation

Non-invasiveness and Safety

Scalp micropigmentation is a non-invasive procedure, which means it does not require incisions or surgical interventions. As a result, the risk of complications is minimal, and the procedure itself is safe for people of all ages. Additionally, the short recovery time allows patients to quickly return to their daily activities, which is a major advantage of this method.

Immediate and Lasting Effects

One of the greatest advantages of micropigmentation is the immediate transformation of appearance. This technique involves the precise placement of special pigments under the skin, resulting in a full hair effect. It is an ideal solution for people completely lacking hair, as well as those experiencing partial baldness.

Aesthetics and Natural Look

Thanks to the use of advanced techniques, micropigmentation provides an incredibly natural and aesthetic appearance. This technique allows for the creation of an illusion of dense, naturally looking hair, which significantly influences the improvement of appearance, as well as self-confidence and well-being. SMP is a procedure whose effects can pleasantly surprise.

How does the processs of scalp micropigmentation proceed?

Stage 1 - Consultation

Consultation is required before the procedure. The consultation can take place in our office or online. During the consultation, we will determine the scope of work, answer all your questions, and provide the exact price for the treatment in your situation.

Stage 2 - First treatment

During the first treatment, we will draw the line of your hairstyle, choose the appropriate pigment tailored to your hair. In this session, micropigmentation will be done with uniform, low density over the entire surface of the head.

Stage 3 - Second treatment

In this session, if necessary, we can make changes to the hair shape. We start the procedure again by drawing the hairline. Then we move on to micropigmentation. The second treatment consists of thickening the hair.

Stage 4 - Third treatment

The third treatment is working on the details. In this session we achieve full density of micropigmentation and the naturalness of the illusion we create. The treatment involves thickening the hair. If necessary, we can make subtle changes to the shape of the hair or darken the effect compared to previous treatments.

Questions and answers

SMP is an abbreviation of SCALP MICROPIGMENTATION – a procedure aimed at creating the illusion of short-cut hair. We apply a specially selected pigment to the outer layer of the skin, creating the illusion of hair follicles. After the procedure, our head looks as if it were covered with thousands of hairs. It is also called medical tattooing.

There is no need to specially prepare for the procedure, it is a non-invasive procedure. Please come to the procedure with your hair cut, it is best to cut your hair on the day of the procedure or the evening before the procedure. Please do not consume (excessively) high-proof alcohol 24 hours before the procedure – this is about thinning the blood.

Yes, even very. Our pigments and equipment on which we work are at the highest world level. Adding to that experienced staff, we have enormous capabilities. We guarantee that even people from the closest surroundings will not notice that these are not real hairs.

With proper care, the satisfactory effect can last for several years, but the immune system is also important, and it is individual for each person, making its functioning difficult to predict. Usually, the satisfactory effect lasts for 3–4 years. If after a few years you decide that you would like to improve the effects, we will perform a touch-up for you. The price for a touch-up is definitely lower than for the first series of treatments at the SMP clinic. We always offer a discount to returning customers.

Price from 1500 PLN, depending on the degree of baldness. It is determined individually for each client. You can send us your photos, talk via Skype or come to our clinic for treatment valuation.

Consultation is not necessary. You can schedule the procedure right away.

The issue of pain is very individual. Most people rate pain at 3–4 (on a scale of 0–10).

Of course. We can conceal scars from hair transplants, burns, injuries, surgeries, and other experiences. No matter how “old” the scar is.

No. Our pigments do not change color. Over time, the color fades, but it never turns shades of blue or green.

Yes. We can reverse the effect of the treatment using Q-Switch laser therapy. This is a system that uses a very short, high-energy pulse. Scars or discoloration do not form after removal.

Most often, three treatments are needed to achieve a satisfactory result. The interval between treatments should be at least one week. You are able to achieve the full effect after approximately three weeks. We look good already after the first SMP treatment session.

Of course, in our clinic, the consultations are always conducted by the person who has undergone the procedure. If you wish, the meeting can take place outside the clinic, so that you can see for yourself that the procedure does not arouse interest among others.

Micropigmentation cannot be performed if the client has any of the following contraindications: skin damage at the site to be pigmented, ongoing radiation or chemotherapy (unfinished cancer treatment excludes scalp micropigmentation), bacterial, fungal or viral infections, fresh scars, scalp skin inflammation, skin diseases on the pigmented area (psoriasis, hives), skin eruptions, epilepsy. During the free consultation, we assess the client’s skin condition for the SMP procedure. Before proceeding with the treatment, the client completes a medical questionnaire, which excludes any potential contraindications.

Of course. We have 30 shades of pigment, so we can choose the right color for each hair and scalp color.

There are no contraindications. The SMP procedure is non-invasive – our clients function normally and show themselves publicly the day after the procedure, which does not arouse interest among other people. For a few hours after the procedure, the scalp may be red, but the next day everything returns to normal.

Yes, after micro-pigmentation procedure you can sunbathe the scalp. As with any sun exposure, tanning should be done with caution – so as not to burn the scalp.
